The two Sea~Stars' meet again. After flying over half the globe Joan joined us today for a warm beautiful Sunday in Ecuador. Joan must have brought some much needed Maui sunshine to Quito and everyone came out to enjoy the day.
There was music and dancing in the streets and artists of every venue shared their talents with the crowds.
Everyone in town, whether they knew it or not, were celebrating Joan's arrival in Ecuador!
And so were we!

ReplyDeleteJust catching up on your blogs & photos--just beautiful! And now Joan is with you--what fun! Glad you're enjoying Peru, in spite of the tourists at Machu Picchu. Must be the time of year. It was not really crowded when we were there in early May, plus any tourists seemed to be around between 10 and 2, otherwise we had it all to ourselves. But it looks like you were undaunted and enjoyed it all anyway. Plus, there are so many gorgeous places with fewer people... The Andes are astounding, aren't they?? Anne and I send love!

I am not much of a blogger but you both are often in my thoughts....loved the ride through those hair raising mountain roads before you got to Machu Pichu........Gudrun sends warm hugs too......when do you return to Maui?
